Send us your form

Rather not build a template yourself? Send us the form you already use — a PDF, a Word file, a past report — and we'll rebuild it in ReportWalk by hand. It's free, and you don't need an account to ask.

1

What to send

  • File types: PDF, Word, Excel or plain text, up to 3MB.
  • Best: a blank copy of your form or template.
  • Also fine: a completed report. If it has a real client on it, we delete it once your template is built.
  • No file to hand? Send the form anyway, then reply to the confirmation email with the file attached. The same works if your file is over 3MB.

How to send it

  1. Open the Send your template page.

  2. Enter your email — the only required field. Use the email you sign in to ReportWalk with, or plan to.

  3. If you like, add your name, what you use today, and what you inspect. Attach your file.

  4. Under Anything we should know?, tell us the parts that matter, the parts you've always disliked, and what your clients ask for.

  5. Tick the box to confirm the template is yours to share, then tap Send my template.

A confirmation email follows. You can reply to it directly — it goes to a person, not a ticket queue.

What happens next

  • Built by hand. Someone reads your form and rebuilds it section by section — your headings, your wording, your order.
  • Usually two or three working days. If yours is unusually long, or we're unusually busy, we'll tell you within a day.
  • It stays yours. It's built as a private template on your account. It never goes into the public library unless you say it can.
  • Not quite right? Tell us and we fix it.

Once it's ready it sits with your own templates, so you can edit it like any of them — see Editing your templates.

If your form came from an association or a vendor

Some templates are licensed rather than written by you. If yours is, say so in the notes. We'll rebuild the structure — the sections, the flow, the kinds of answer — without copying their wording.

The file you send goes to private storage that only we can read, and it's used to build your template and nothing else.
