Re-inspections

When you go back to check the repairs, you don't start from a blank page. ReportWalk turns every finding from the original report into a short walk — and the report shows what was reported beside what you found now.

1

Start a re-inspection

  1. In Walks, open the original template walk.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of its sections and tap Start a re-inspection.

  3. Tap Start. The new walk opens with a banner: Re-inspection of “…” — 5 findings to check.

It needs a connection, and the original walk must have finished syncing. It works from a template walk that has findings — the items in its summary of findings. Start each re-inspection from the original walk, not from an earlier re-inspection.

2

What the walk asks

There's one section per finding, named after it. The line at the top of each says what was reported and how serious it was. Each section asks:

  • Fixed?Fixed · Partly fixed · Not fixed · Couldn't check
  • What you foundA note in your words
  • Photo nowUp to four photos

A last section, Anything else, is for something new you noticed on this visit. Talk, take photos and finish the walk just as you would any other.

The report: then beside now

Generate the report as usual. Each finding shows Reported — the original answer, its severity and up to two photos from that section — beside Now: your note and your new photos.

What still needs doing comes first:

  1. Still needs attention — not fixed

  2. Partly fixed

  3. Could not be checked, then anything not recorded on this visit

  4. Fixed

The web version opens with a count of each, a link to the original report, and Copy what's still outstanding for a ready-to-send list.

Re-inspections are free

Up to three re-inspections of the same original walk don't count toward your plan's walks. A fourth or later one counts like any other walk.
