Getting started

Install the app, sign in with your email, answer a few setup questions, and you're ready for your first walk. It takes a couple of minutes.

Install the app

ReportWalk is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Search for ReportWalk, or use the link below on your phone.

Sign in — no password

  1. Open the app and type your email under Email Address.

  2. Tap Email me a sign-in link. If the address looks mistyped (gmail.con, say), the app offers a fix first.

  3. The Check your email screen shows the address we sent to. If it's wrong, tap Use a different email.

  4. Get in one of two ways. Email open on this phone? Tap the link in the email. Reading it on a computer? Type the code from the email into the box and tap Sign in.

Nothing after a minute? Check your spam folder. If you asked for more than one email, use the code from the newest one — it's the one that works. More help: Sign-in problems.

Set up your profile

The first time you sign in, the app asks a few questions. Most are quick taps.

  1. Get Started, then Select Industry and Your Role.

  2. Report Intent — what your reports are for.

  3. Prepared by — your name, and your company if you have one. This goes on your reports.

  4. Add a logo — optional; it appears on reports. Skip for now is fine.

  5. Primary Language — the language you'll speak on walks, and whether Freestyle reports are translated to English or kept in the language you spoke.

  6. Contact details — how clients reach you. Tap Finish setup, or Skip.

  7. All set! Tap Yes, Start First Walk to go straight in, or No, Explore App to look around first.

You can change any of this later: Settings → Edit Profile.

The 60-second tour

The first time you reach your walks, a short tour opens. It lets you try talking to fill fields and taking a photo that files itself, without starting a real walk. A banner — See the magic in 60 seconds — stays at the top of your walks until you've tried both. To see it again any time: Settings → Replay the Tour.

Finding your way around

  • WalksEvery walk, with search and filters. The Start Walk button is at the bottom.
  • MapYour walks as pins on a map.
  • AskAsk a question about your past walks.
  • SettingsProfile, templates, signature, vocabulary, plan.
