Your free booking page

Every ReportWalk account can have a free booking page: clients see your prices, ask for a quote or pick a time. It works for any kind of inspection, and it's free for life. Your two widgets — Get a Quote and Book Online — are simply links into that page.

1

What you get

  • Your own page at an address like www.reportwalk.com/book/your-business.
  • Two widgets. Get a Quote and Book Online open your page at the quote or the booking step. Put them on your website, in your email signature, or on your Google Business Profile.
  • An inbox and a calendar for requests, plus written quotes you can send yourself.
  • Your brand, not ours. Your page and the emails your clients get carry no ReportWalk promotion.

Set it up

Booking is set up in a web browser, on a computer or your phone — not in the app.

  1. Go to www.reportwalk.com/book and tap Create my widgets.

  2. Sign in with your email — the same account as the app.

  3. Your business — your business name, the town or city you work in, and your website if you have one.

  4. What inspections do you do? — your services and prices.

  5. When do you work? — the start times clients can request. Then tap Looks good — publish my page.

Later, manage everything from your booking dashboard at templates.reportwalk.com/my/booking. Its tabs are Inbox, Calendar, Prices, Hours, Agreement, Page and Share.

3

Put it on your website

Open the Share tab. For each widget, tap Copy link, or Copy snippet to paste into your site. Tell it what your website is built with and you'll get instructions to match. If someone else looks after your website, tap Email them the instructions.

4

When a client books

The client picks a time and the time is held for them. You get an email with Confirm and Decline buttons, and the request waits in your Inbox as Needs your answer. The client hears back by email either way.

Prefer bookings to go straight in? In Hours, turn on Confirm bookings automatically.

No double booking. Once a time is held or booked, nobody else can take it — the system itself refuses, not just the page.

5

Written quotes

In the Inbox, tap New quote. Pick the inspection, add the client's name and email, and add any lines — travel, a repeat-client discount — plus an optional note.

The client gets a page with Accept and pick a time, and a PDF if they want one. Accepting books at the price you quoted. If a client views a quote but doesn't accept within a day, we email you a reminder.

6

An inspection agreement (optional)

It's off unless you turn it on in the Agreement tab, where you write your own text. It never blocks a booking. Clients sign afterwards, from the confirmation screen or the email: they type their name and tick a box, and drawing a signature is optional.

Each signature keeps the exact text they agreed to and when. Your Inbox shows Agreement signed or Not signed.

7

Try it yourself

In your dashboard, tap Try your page and book yourself. Bookings made that way, or made with your own email address, are labelled Test in your Inbox. Clear test requests removes them.
