Marking up photos
Point at the crack, circle the stain, number the problems, blur a face or a house number. The photo editor works on a copy, so your original photo is always kept.
Open the editor
In a template walk, open the section and tap the photo. It opens full screen.
Tap the pencil icon.
Pick a tool and a color at the bottom, then draw on the photo.
Tap the check mark to save, or the X to leave without saving.
The tools
- ArrowDrag from where you start to the point
- CircleDrag out from the center
- Numbered pinTap to drop 1, 2, 3…

Three colors — red, yellow and white — so a mark shows up on any background. Two sliders adjust brightness and contrast for dark attics and crawlspaces. Undo takes back the last mark.
Your original is kept
The editor never changes the photo you took. Your marks are saved separately, and a marked-up copy is made from them. Open the editor again later and your marks are still there to change, add to or undo.
In the report
The report uses the marked-up version of each photo you edited, in the PDF and the web report alike. Photos you didn't edit appear as they were.
