A 4-point inspection on one phone: roof, electrical, plumbing and HVAC filled in by voice, with no paper form and no clipboard.

4-Point Inspection on One Phone — No Paper Forms | ReportWalk

What you’ll see

  • The 4-Point Inspection Form is in the ReportWalk template library. Install it once and it lives on your phone: property info, then one section for each of the four systems, then comments and your signature.
  • On the roof, say "hip roof, asphalt shingle, eighteen years old, replacement permit on file, condition poor" and the shape, type, age, permit and condition fill in. A poor condition rating goes to the summary of findings at the top of the report. At the panel: amperage, breakers, copper wiring, grounding. In plumbing: supply pipe material (polybutylene, spelled right), drains, water heater age and type. Then the HVAC system type, age, condition and last service date.
  • Photos you take stay with their section, stamped with GPS, time and weather. Sign on the phone and the 4-point inspection report is ready, with your logo, all four systems and the photos, as a PDF or a live link.

Transcript

A 4-point inspection: roof, electrical, plumbing, HVAC. Four systems, one clipboard, and a form that needs the exact age of the water heater, like it’s planning a birthday party.

So leave the clipboard in the truck. The 4-point inspection form is in the ReportWalk template library. Install it once, and it lives on your phone.

Property info. Then the four systems, one section each. Then comments, and your signature.

Start outside. Open Roof, tap once, and talk.

“Hip roof. Asphalt shingle, eighteen years old. Replacement permit on file. Condition poor.”

Shape, type, age, permit, condition: filled from one sentence. And that poor rating goes straight to the top of the report.

Inside, open Electrical. “Two hundred amp panel. Breakers. Copper wiring. Grounding present.”

Four fields, filled while both your hands were busy holding the panel cover. Which is the whole point.

Plumbing. “Supply lines are polybutylene. Drains are PVC. Tank water heater, twelve years.”

Polybutylene. Spelled right, first try. That has never once happened on a clipboard.

HVAC. “Heat pump, nine years old. Condition good. Last serviced in March.”

Take the photos as you go. The roof, the open panel, the water heater label. Each one stays with its section, with GPS, time and weather on it.

Sign on the phone, and the 4-point inspection report is ready. Your logo, all four systems, the photos. PDF or live link.

The clipboard can stay in the truck. It’s had a long career.
